BioI'm a high-school student who is obsessed with Shostakovich. What else is there to say?
Well, mostly that my life revolves around music. I have been in my high school's advanced choir for all four years, and I frequently audition for regional honor choirs (and frequently am accepted!), and have attended Innerspark (a summer music acadamy in LA) and have been in Stanislaus State's summer chamber music program. I'm also involved in drama, and have played Rosemary Pilkington in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Alice Sycamore in You Can't Take it With You; two roles that will always be close to my heart.
I am a strong mezzosoprano who always tries to play pieces on the piano that are far too hard for her.
Right now I'm working on Shostakovich's 4th Fugue in E minor... Just finished the prelude :)
